Wer erinnert sich noch an Rolf, die wandelnde Hand, mit der die Post anno 1993 für die Umstellung auf fünfstellige Postleitzahlen warb? Damals wurde auch der berühmt-berüchtigte Werbespruch “Fünf ist Trümpf!” geprägt :)

Dieser Spruch gilt seit einiger Zeit auch für meine Homepage, denn ich habe den beachtlichen Google Pagerank™ von fünf (5/10) erhalten! Google bewertet damit die Struktur und Qualität und Beliebtheit einer Seite. Für eine Privatseite ist 5 ganz beachtlich und spricht für die Qualität meiner Artikel … hoffe ich zumindest!Auf jeden Fall stehe ich – was den Pagerank angeht – auf gleicher Stufe wie zum Beispiel telepolis.de und zeit.de. Entsprechend findet sich meine Seite bei den Google-Suchergebnissen ganz oben auf der Liste. Ich hoffe, dass ich mich auch zukünftig dieser Ehre würdig erweisen werde :D

So richtig konnte mir noch keiner erklären, was der Vorteil von Tags gegenüber von Kategorien ist… Trotzdem will ich mich mal auf das Experiment einlassen und habe mit der Umstellung auf WordPress 2.3 die Tag-Funktion in Betrieb genommen. So ganz möchte ich mich aber von meinen geliebten Kategorien nicht verabschieden. Daher existieren derzeit beide Funtionen – Tags und Kategorien – mehr oder weniger harmonisch nebeneinander… mit ein paar leeeeichten Überlappungen :)
Unter jedem Beitrag werden ab sofort die Tags angezeigt, derzeit noch ziemlich formlos. Außerdem hat bei dieser Gelegenheit ein neues Icon namens “share this” seinen Einzug gehalten, das es erlaubt meine Beiträge in “social bookmarking” Diensten einzutragen.

Experimentelle Tag Wolke

Kaum ein Monat ist sie nun im Netz verfügbar – meine neue Homepage. Trotzdem haben sich, selbst bei konservativster Rechnung, bereits über 500 Leser auf die Seite verirrt. Die beliebtesten Artikel sind mein schon etwas älterer Bericht vom Post-ASH-Symposium 2006, sowie meine Anleitung zur Umrechnung der Zentrifugengeschwindigkeit.
Im gleichen Zeitraum, wie die fünfhundert “echten” Besucher, kamen aber zehnmal mehr Schadprogramme – so genannte Spiders, Spambots und Mailharvester – auf meine Seite. Aus diesem Grund habe ich beschlossen, eine weitere Abwehrmaßnahme zu ergreifen… seit heute wacht das Programm bot-trap über meine Seite. Bestimmte Merkmale der Besucher werden analysiert und bei Verdacht wird eine leichte Kopfrechenaufgabe gestellt, bevor meine Seite angezeigt wird. Falls Sie selbst diese Seite irrtümlich zu sehen bekommen, obwohl Sie kein Schadprogramm sind, so surfen Sie vermutlich über einen Server, der häufig das Opfer von Schadprogrammen war und deshalb auf der schwarzen Liste gelandet ist. In diesem Fall senden Sie bitte eine eMail an mich, damit ich die Schutz-Einstellungen entsprechend “tunen” kann.
